Mike Stuart
Watercolour Artist
Tutor and Demonstrator
Mike was born in London and attended Harrow Art College.
Upon leaving he went into the acting profession where he spent the following 35
years
in Theatre, Film and Television
Having always kept a sketchbook during his travels,
upon retiring Mike took up watercolour painting full time
undertaking a number of commissions and selling many of his paintings
Realising the demand for tuition in the local area
Mike formed the Gorefield Society of Artists where he now teaches
watercolour landscape painting and also holds regular weekly classes
at the Lincolnshire Gallery Spalding, Lincolnshire.
Mike runs one-day workshops; demonstrates for art clubs
throughout the country,
and with his wife Diane organises painting holidays.
Although the painting holiday advertised on the website is
basically a flower painting holiday,
there will be the opportunity to paint a couple of local scenes with Mike.
